Very friendly and considerate stuff, clean and comfortable room, welcomed atmosfere
Loved the location, food delivery option, breakfast, amazing gym at the roof top along with terrace, self laundry is a great thing but make sure to have your own detergent, staff is amazing -- very prompt and courteous. They fixed my networking issues within 30 minutes and created and alternative network option when free wifi was not working out for me. Try getting that from your 5 star hotel. Overall, will stay again and highly recommended for the value of money. One of the best kept secrets in Bangalore. However, the prices might have gone up since it became Citadines owned property now.
At times I felt lack of kitchen is a bummer.
I will always stay in this one when visiting Blote, I highly recommend this hotel People are amazing hotel is clean, service is good.
Internet is slow but it's slow everywhere in India not only here
They need to improve their staff and service in general
Nice location. Self laundry very useful indeed. Gym on roof was pretty reasonable. Lobby and reading areas very pleasant.
A> Citadines is very over-priced for what you get. (We stayed there A> after travelling for over a month in se Asia and India and felt it A> was by far our worst value hotel for the money!) B> When we checked A> in we were given a room on the ground floor that had dirty sheets and A> was very noisy due to road traffic noise; we complained and were then A> moved to the 7th floor to a room we were promised was "very quiet". A> It was not. My wife and I were kept awake all night long because of a A> service lift that runs directly behind the wall. We had to make three A> telephone calls during the night/early hours or the morning before we A> could get any tangible response from the night manager on reception; A> which was to send three engineers to come and 'investigate' our room A> - they barely even had to enter our room as they knew exactly where A> the noise was coming from. We of course complained bitterly in the A> morning to manager, and, after much heated discussion, we negotiated A> a discount with his manager over the phone. Now that I'm home I will A> be making a formal complaint to owners of Citadines.
It was very well maintained and was very clean.
Down side was the tariff which was on a higher side I felt. They have no room service facility and can only provide sandwiches at the most. Though they have some tie-ups with some of the restaurants and stores from where you can get the food delivered to your room. So keeping all that in mind, a daily stay for inr 5800/- or usd 110/- (incl of taxes & charges) is quite expensive.
Contemporary style decor done up to high standards. Staff was very helpful. any small request was dealt with quickly and well. I enjoyed my stay. I was traveling with my mother-in-law and the twin suite was spacious and comfortable.
It is not a Five Star as advertised by you. You are misleading people like me. It is a 2 or max. 3 star hotel with better lobhy than rooms. Breakfast is good for the monye, pool is good. Room are ordinary, no carpet and looks more like a Office converted to a Hotel than a Hotel per se inside.
roof top terrace travel desk was very helpful, also in booking train tickets
check in and check out was complicated and pricing not completely transparent (we would reccomend to bring your Booked.net confirmation in English)
Excellet stay at a very reasonable price
Miscommunication between Booked.net and Citadines. Citadines had some trouble with their mail system as per front desk. However room was provided.
Experience messy room arrangement, needed to change the room key every night, no room clean up service for the first day because of record mistake, staff are not helpful enough
staff is very attentive and friendly, nice terrace with decent cafe (also location for breakfast), very nice gym, free transportation to UB City
breakfast was rather meager, only few western options, a lot of items (e.g bread, cold milk, ...) were already used up and not replaced unless you specifically ask for it, got twin beds although we specifically asked for a double
I think staff either lacks a sophistication thats needed or technical training.. the hotel has no restaurant apart from a coffee shop with very small basic menu.. internet was slow..
the location and the rooms are nice, the staff tries, but...
check in takes for ages, even check out takes quite a bit of time, even though they have a credit card they insist on a small security deposit, the pool is inhabited by a swarm of pidgeons, depending on your rooms location, the noise from richmond road can be a problem, breakfast is rather small and heavy on the indian fare
The rooms are big with all necessary facilities, the location is good.
Management is poor, the front desk staff could not deal with clients at all. The housekeepers make the room only at 2 P.M. You could not find anything of European food for breakfast. They make mistakes in price calculations all the time - my credit card was charged for 100 usd two days after check-out.. In spite of the fact that I paid totally room charges and extras, and they could not explain the reason- they did it without my permission and after that they did not answer my calls or e- mail letters. I will never come back to this place. Here are so many nice hotels in Banglor with excellent staff.
